North Jay Water District was incorporated to serve the village of North Jay, from the north side of Jay Hill to the border of Wilton.

Water for the district is treated by, delivered and purchased from the Town of Wilton Water District.

North Jay Water District is managed by a elected Board of Trustees, who conduct meetings which are held quarterly (January, April, July and October) and are always open to the public.

As the water district employs a part-time staff, the district does not have "regular" office hours, but the staff does check messages (207-645-2812)  on a regular basis and can be reached via email at jaywaterdistrict@gmail.com.  For "emergencies" call our superintendent (Mike Wells) at 207-578-1528. 

The NORTH JAY WATER DISTRICT is a Quasi-Municipality and is NOT a department of the Town of Jay
